Our story

It all started with an old sewing machine and some scrap fabric.. well that and my obsession with creating things. I have always loved to create, whether that was building lego sets, making clothes for my dolls or pretending to be Rihannas costume designer. Imagination and a craving for design has been at my core for as long as I can remember.

JMC Studios manifested after a few years of working in the design industry. In my experience there was a lack of authenticity in the industry and I wanted to change that. There was a focus on designing for magazines or social media instead of designing for the people inhabiting the home. Designing a nice space is easy, the part that makes this fun and challenging is designing specifically for the needs of the person/people inhabiting the space. Here at JMC Studios we specialise in bespoke interiors. Because at the end of the day it’s your home so everything down to the socket placement should reflect that and elevate your everyday life.
